To knit both these patterns you will need 2 skeins of DK yarn (2x100g/225m). The yarn recommendations in each pattern are just that: recommendations. But you can use any DK yarn you like to get a matching set or if you want to have different colours then you will need 1 skein for Hip To Be Squared cowl and then 1 skein for Hip To Be Squarish.
