This is a set of 3 crochet patterns designed as a baby shower gift set for expecting moms: a multipurpose horse baby blanket and 2 matching horse baby loveys. You can buy them separately from my Etsy shop, but they are cheaper as a bundle.

Crochet level: INTERMEDIATE - You will need to know how to read a pattern and have attempted amigurumi before (crocheting in the round). There are video tutorials provided for some of the stitches used.

Format: PDF file, pattern written row by row in US terms with side notes and photo tutorial where needed. All special stitches are explained so you can easily follow and complete the pattern.

HORSE BABY BLANKET

This is a baby blanket that folds into a toy. You can use it as a stroller blanket to keep your little one entertained, a playmat while at home, cuddle with the blanket while asleep or folded as a toy or decoration for the nursery. Looks gorgeous rested on the cot.

Materials:

• 7 x 100g balls of DK (light worsted yarn) in brown
• 1 x 100g ball of DK (light worsted yarn) in cream
• small quantities of DK (light worsted yarn) in dark brown
• toy stuffing
• 10mm black doll safety eyes
• 4mm and 6mm crochet hooks

HARRY & HARRIET HORSE LOVEYS

This pattern contains 2 designs:

1. Harry The Horse which has curly hair and a more detailed lovey blanket classed as INTERMEDIATE level
2. Harriet The Horse which has straight hair and a simpler blanket classed as EASY level

Materials:
DK yarn (light worsted, #3):

• 2 x 100g balls in brown & 1 x 100g ball in beige for Harriet
• 2 x 100g balls in beige & 1 x 100g ball in brown for Harry
• small quantities of pink and dark brown for the tip of the hands and bow
• 12mm safety doll eyes
• toy stuffing
• 4.5mm crochet hook
