I love crochet! It was the first yarn craft I learned as a child, and I want you to learn to love it, too. I designed this workbook to teach a complete beginner how to crochet when used with my GoodKnit Kisses tutorial videos. You do not need to have a basic knowledge of crochet to use this course, but you will need to have access to YouTube to watch the videos.

The 8 lessons in this series cover everything you need to know for a complete beginner to get a solid start learning how to crochet. I’ve also got 6 full patterns to help you build your skills.

In the introduction I’ll cover some of the basic terminology and supplies then we’ll jump right into the basic stitches. Once you know the basics I’ll show you how to combine them to create some common stitch patterns: linen stitch, granny squares and corner to corner projects.

Crochet is about making projects out of yarn so I want you to start out with some basic patterns that you can complete as a beginner.
Don’t worry if you can’t read a pattern, I’ll walk you through it.

The lesson videos also include timestamps to help you navigate to the part of the video you need most or to review concepts.

My goal is for you to gain the skills and confidence you need to be able to tackle any beginner crochet pattern you like.
