This is a selection of 5 knitting patterns, all of which are knit using the Brioche Stitch. The first of the pattern, listed below, will teach you how to do the two basic brioche stitches. The second pattern listed below will advance your skill to incorporate cabling with the brioche stitch. Both of these two patterns are written in the usual knitting nomenclature, and not “brioche-speak”. Nor are these two patterns charted. The following two patterns, for scarves will enhance your skills and they are charted in addition to being written out line by line.

The patterns also contain instructions contained for an optional crocheted edging. The Warm Brioche Pocket Shawl contains a special self-edge that I created, should you elect to use it, instead of crocheting a border. The Single and Double Brioche Stitch Scarf contains a special surprise.

Skill Level: Beginner + - Intermediate (assuming a knowledge knitting and yo’s).
