Mad Love #3 is a digital pattern booklet featuring five patterns from designers AnnMarie Baker, Jen Geigley, Jonah Larson, Andrea Mowry, and Thao Nguyen, benefitting the MT Community Love Fund.
The MT Community Love Fund will raise donations through creative collaborations and partnerships. The fund may offer financial grants, scholarships, mentorship, yarn and more to business owners, designers and students in our maker community. The MT Community Love Fund celebrates diversity and will encourage anyone in our community of every race, religion, age, ability, sexual identity, gender identity, skin color and body type to apply, especially BIPOC and LBGTQI+.
Thanks to our Madelinetosh community, in 2020 we raised $7,500 and distributed $5750 to makers, stores, designers, students, indie businesses and friends of GG who have been impacted by the pandemic. We were able to gift $250 each to three amazing non-profits; Knit the Rainbow, Funky Town Fridge and Women for Women and this year we worked with a local Reno carpenter to design, build and donate our first MT Community Love Fund “Free Yarn Library” to Jimmy Beans Wool.
100% of proceeds from the pattern booklet and 10% of yarn sales from our new color collaboration, GG Loves Speckles and other designers colors will be donated back to the MT Community Love Fund. By purchasing this booklet and working with GG Loves Speckles, you are directly supporting diversity and accessibility in the fiber world.
