Miss Anthropy knits and crochets, and some other crafty things too. Mother to four, most of my knitting occurs while my kids run around screaming and fighting each other with swords.
I started crocheting one long chain when my grandmother taught me sometime back when memory and conception of time are a bit hazy. My skills have improved somewhat since then.
I started knitting when my dad’s second wife’s sister taught me at the wedding. It didn’t last long. Neither did the knitting.
I picked up crafting again after graduating from college when the economy was in the toilet and underemployment was the name of the game. Now over a decade on, I am constantly challenging myself with new skills, pretty fibers, and a soul-deep fascination with complex, deep, captivating colorways. I blog and sell my FOs, original patterns, and destash yarn & fiber on my site here.
