All patterns are written out for fingering weight yarn and DPNs.
However, experienced knitters may find they can play a little both with needle sizes and yarn!

The sock club is written out for you who have some experience in sock knitting.
That being said, I’ve had complete beginners nail my patterns before.

You can always use the cuff, heels, and toes you prefer.

Yarn
I always recommend light colors and nothing to busy.
Many colors and darker colors have a tendency to not show off a textured and cabled pattern to its justice.
