These pattern documents includes instructions, in American Standard Terms (You can see conversion table for British terms at the start of the e-book) and a detailed step by step photo guides that I will show you how to make these cute Penguin with hat and scarf, and Christmas trees of two sizes.

Difficulty level: medium

Size: With the material suggested in this guide, the penguin will be 10,5cm. If you use thicker yarn, the penguin will be bigger.
The size of the penguin in the hat is 12 cm.
The size of the small Christmas tree is 6 cm, the big one is 9 cm.

Materials for penguin:
• Yarn: white, black, yellow, blue. I used Maddison Lea (50% wolle, 50% polyacryl, 50g/160m); YarnArt Begonia (100% cotton, 50g/169m).
• Hook: 2,5mm
• Scissors.
• Filling material of your choice.
• Needle.

Materials for Christmas tree:
• Yarn: green, white, yellow, red. I used YarnArt Begonia (100% cotton, 50g/169m).
• Hook: 2,5mm
• Scissors.
• Filling material of your choice.
• Needle.

Abbreviations
The pattern is worked using US Crochet Terms. Conversions to UK terms are shown below in parentheses:
mr - magic ring
ch - chain stitch
slst - slip stitch
sc - single crochet (dc - double crochet)
inc - increase
dec - decrease
sc blo - sc back loop only (dc back loop only)
sc flo - sc front loop only (dc front loop only)
hdc - half double crochet (htr - half treble crochet)
dc - double crochet (tr - treble crochet)
reverse sc - crab stitch - (reverse dc)

These instructions describe in detail such complex stitches as: front loop single crochet, back loop single crochet, reverse single crochet.
