The Shell Lace booklet contains 3 patterns based on shell shapes.

Across the Beach is a silver coloured triangular shawl with a shell shaped edging, little water droplets and the sand of the beach.
The silk is makes it very easy to wear, it drapes wonderfully and the subtle colours make it very easy on the eyes.

Saint Ninian contains the same shell patterns as Across the Beach, yet nicely put in rows. The colour of the yarn is just stunning. Because Saint Ninian’s beach has water on both sides, the shells run in two directions.

Ensis is a rectangular scarf with razorlike shell shapes and little heart shells to add to the collection. Again, the silk has such subtle colours it really adds to the look.
Here also beads are used, this time to accentuate the shapes.

All in all a very interesting combination to knit some amazing shawls.
