Colour-blocking is a modern and trendy way to make a difference with bold splashes of geometric colour. Spice up a plain couch in your living room with a set of colour-block cushions. Pick your own shades, matching the colour of a sofa, or go for sharp contrasting combinations.
Cushion cover is worked flat in one piece with intarsia on the front. The sides are stitched together after blocking, and three (four) buttons sewn on the back for closure. Working in intarsia is fairly easy for an advanced beginner who is comfortable with the basic knit and purl stitches.
Two charts are included for each design for 40 cm / 16” and 45 cm / 18” square covers.
