A collection of four shawls inspired by mythological birds of North America, drawing from stories told by First Nations peoples from the jungles of Mexico to the coastal rain forests of British Columbia.
These shawls range from intermediate to advanced skill levels, requiring a good understanding of chart reading and the ability to follow more than one chart across a single row. The patterns include travelling cables and textured Estonian stitches in addition to lace work.
In all cases the patterns are suitable for adaptation to different yarn weights and fibres.
This eBook has been discontinued. The patterns are all available to purchase individually from the designer’s Ravelry store.
