String Quartet includes 4 shawls, each one a variation on the same motifs. The shawls are all worked in one piece, 2 of them starting with an easy garter tab. Four different shapes are included as options, using the same lace patterns. The first is a typical top-down triangular shawl. The second is crescent shaped and also top down in construction. The third is a shallow crescent shaped shawl done in 2 colours, using short rows for the shaping. The fourth is a scarf/stole version.
Note that any laceweight or fingering yarn may be substituted. Additional yardage may be required.
