This 248 page pdf is a 2011 Treasury of Susan’s Collected Patterns; in fact, it is all of my various patterns from mid 2010 to mid 2011. ! I’ve just updated it again to include five more patterns, my latest baby caps and hats! I’ve also included my brand-new “tropical flowers” pattern, the “tiny purses” pattern and the fish applique and edging pattern, so you get it all). I think the only pattern this 248 page ebook doesn’t include is my “Summer Jewelry” pattern.
There are very easy projects and some (like the hummingbird applique) which are more involved. All of them have photos and detailed instructions, and there is a list of terms and abbreviations at the front of the book.
You’ll find 248 pages (it’s even 8” x 10” format, so you could easily print it out!) and NOW seven chapters which will look familiar to my etsy friends: chapter one are many ornaments and small shapes like candy inspired rosettes and crosses and other ornaments; chapter two is my “Hat, Flower, and Tiny Purse” collection with five simple baby hats, three tiny purses and 11 bold dimensional flowers, including big bossy mums; chapter three is the “Plarn” set of 5 tiny recycled projects made from shopping bags; chapter four is my “Bonus” version of thread crochet jewelry designs; chapter five is my “Small Animal” applique patterns (thirteen of them, the same collection sold separately here on Ravelry), with the tiny Santa Hat; chapter six is my collection of three scarfettes and two flower and leaf-inspired edging and garland patterns. There are a total of more than 66 individual patterns scattered among the chapters. All of the items pictured on the cover are included among the patterns, but there are more that aren’t pictured.
Some of the materials you’ll need: a few steel crochet hooks (size 1 and 4) and fashion crochet thread (like Lydia’s no.3). A few of the thread crochet projects call for fabric stiffener (the snowflakes and jewelry pendants, in particular). And lots of the other patterns (flowers, the two hats) use good old sweater weight yarn or baby weight yarn and an aluminum crochet hook in sizes F through H, mostly. You need to know chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, triple crochet, and in one pattern a double triple crochet (it’s easy! Just email me for some video links if you can’t find any)
Feel free to make and sell these items at shows and elsewhere, just put a link to my store in your listings! And also, please don’t pass around or sell my patterns, they are my own original and copyrighted designs.
