The Core Collection Set contains three patterns: the classic Aosta Sweater, the Aosta Cardigan, and the Aosta Slipover. All three sweaters use the same beautiful Andalusian stitch and are worked top-down in the round.

Aosta Sweater Details
Materials

You will need 7mm and 6mm long circular needles and, if you prefer to use them to make the sleeves, some 6mm and 7mm shorter circular or double pointed knitting needles. You will also need 8 stitch markers and a darning needle.

You will need approx. 5 (5-6) 6 (6) 7 skeins / 680m (680m) 816m (816m) 952m of The Meriwool by We Are Knitters or any alternative yarn that matches the necessary tension.

The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL are intended to fit a bust measurement of roughly 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-105) 105-110 cm with around 5-10cm positive ease. The fit is meant to be fairly relaxed. For reference, my bust measures c. 90cm and I made the size S.

Aosta Cardigan Details
Materials

You will need 6mm and 7mm long circular needles and, if you prefer to use them to make the sleeves, some 6mm and 7mm shorter circular or double pointed knitting needles. You will also need 8 stitch markers and a darning needle.

You will need approx. 5 (5) 6 (6) 7 skeins of the Petite Wool or the Meriwool by We Are Knitters or any alternative yarn that matches the necessary tension. The sample garment is made with the Petite Wool in the shade Natural, which I have dyed using avocado skins and pits.

The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL are intended to fit a bust measurement of roughly 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-105) 105-110 cm with around 5-10cm positive ease. The fit is meant to be fairly relaxed. For reference, my bust measures c. 90cm and I made the size S.

You will also need at least 4 buttons measuring 2cm in diameter. If you choose to make your cardigan longer than the sample garment, you will probably require more.

Aosta Slipover Details
Materials

You will need 6mm and 7mm circular needles. If you wish, you can use straight needles for the tops of the front and back panels, which are initially worked back and forth in rows.

You will need approx. 3 (3) 4 (4) 5 skeins of the Petite Wool or the Meriwool by We Are Knitters or any alternative yarn that matches the necessary tension. The sample garments are made with the Meriwool in the shade Natural and Beige. For the Beige Aosta Slipover, I added a strand of We Are Knitters Touch Me Mohair. One skein of this (400m) was perfect for the size S. This did not affect the tension but added a lot of extra tension. A silk-mohair blend like Drops Kid silk would also make a beautiful addition.

The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL are intended to fit a chest measurement of roughly 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-105) 105-110 cm with around 5cm positive ease.
