The collection contains 2 blanket patterns and 2 scarf patterns all based on the same idea of a grove of trees.
I first designed the Maple Grove Blanket while I was heavily pregnant with my second daughter. My inspiration was a gorgeous set of gradient colourways (the Maple Vanilla colourway set) on Springvale Bulky yarn from Three Irish Girls. The tree lace in this pattern looked like a grove of trees, hence the name.
The Alpine Grove designs are an extension of this with a similar tree lace more suited to worsted gauge. The trees for this version looks more like a Pine tree so the name Alpine Grove seemed fitting.
Maple Grove Scarf and Blanket use Bulky yarn knit at 12st16 row /10cm gauge on 7mm needles.
Alpine Grove Scarf and Blanket use Worsted/Aran yarn knit at 18st and 24row /10cm gauge on 4.5mm needles.
If you have previously purchased either the Maple Grove Ebook or the Alpine Grove Ebook I have set up a permanent discount (automatically applied on checkout) to deduct your previous payment from the total.
I just wanted to let my EU customers that while my singular patterns are now available on LoveKNitting I am still in the process of moving my ebooks over. They haven’t yet found a way to link ebooks with your ravelry libraries so I am pondering how I will deal with these. I would optimally love to have people be able to get automatic updates easily.
In the meantime if you live in a EU country and want to purchase one of my ebooks please contact me via email (stitchymama@gmail.com) and I will organise a email purchase and gift the product to you in your rav library.
