This collection of four shawls begins with The Water’s Edge at Old Mission Peninsula. This shawl seen pictured below was inspired by the thought of retreat and what it means to me. Retreat for me, is always at the water’s edge and especially the place and space that I think of when I think of our family vacations spent on Old Mission Peninsula. A time for rejuvenation and comfort and recharge.

The other three shawls in this series will feature my favorite places to visit when we Retreat to our Old Mission Peninsula cottage. Fishtown (Leland), Sutton’s Bay and Traverse City will be just as fun to knit to as they are to visit.
