About the Vinyl Revival Patterns
Are you ready for a trip down a musical memory lane?
Sing along to songs of the 70s and 80s as you crochet up the three different sized granny squares, reminiscent of spinning records on a turntable into a blanket of your design.
This is not just a crochet pattern. Oh no! It is so much more than that. It’s a lesson in project planning as well. You will learn skills you can apply to other granny square projects.
The pattern includes;
- print friendly format for the pages you’ll likely want to print
- written patterns for 3 different sized granny squares (the patterns include both UK & US terms),
- charts, as you’re used to + left-handed versions
- video for the important parts of the patterns, including mirrored videos for left handed folks
- a full glossary of all stitches and techniques used
- Project Planners (with lots of hand holding so you can make what you want)
- Layout Planner
- Colour changing options
- Help for getting that swirl affect by using 2 colours in each round of the record part of the patterns including video and detailed photos
- a link to a Spotify playlist to listen to while you crochet lots of musical memories about songs and albums of the OG era of vinyl records
Blanket Size
The aim of this pattern is that you make a blanket (or something else) that will fit your needs. If you don’t want to do that, to make a blanket about 50” square in 8 ply/DK/light worsted yarn that is approximately 2.425 metres per gram, you will need;
Records colour - 750 grams
