These are cute and quick patterns for knitters of all levels. If you are a beginner, they are good patterns to practice knitting in the round and duplicate stitch. If you are an intermediate or advanced knitter, you’ll be able to make a cute animal from start to finish in just a few hours.

These patterns call for sport weight yarn. I recommend Wool of the Andes to get nice, life-like colours. You’ll need just 1/5th of a skein for the main colour, plus about one yard of each contrasting colour.

Gauge is not important, just be sure that your knitting is snug so that the stuffing does not spill out.
