I started off this project using Red Heart Shimmer Royal Real. I got halfway through the hat and I just wasn’t feeling the yarn. The hat was looking used. It looked like it had been through the wringer. It did not have that elegant, smooth brand new look. I couldn’t sell this hat to my customer and feel good. The yarn may be good for another project but not for one where the stitches are tight.

I returned and exchange Red Heart Shimmer in Royal Real for Lion Brand Heartland in Olympic - another blue. This one worked much better and the hat looks like new. Still has that fuzzy yarn quality but nothing on the scale of looking used and abused.
