Started ball 2 tonight! Currently striping it in, alternating rows to ensure a smooth transition.

This yarn is looking gorgeous knitted up, and the pattern makes it feel very mermaid-esque!

On ball 3 and we have reached peak “omg this is going on forever” status.

It’s done! Well, it’s blocking anyway. I’m very impatient and don’t like this waiting part.

I ended up with 26” x 43.5”. About one ball in it was really clear that 34” was out of the question, and I had less than 0 desire to frog and start over. I can stretch it that wide, but then the border gets ruffled from the dramatic decrease in length. So I winged it, and just kept going till it felt long enough. I like it! I think it’ll be snuggly to wrap up in as the recipient gets older.
