Yarn arrived today! I got a couple extra colors so I could shift things around after seeing them in person.

After staring at the colors for a while, I ordered a few more skeins and shifted things around. I think this set is much better, and I’m already coming up with plans for the extra yarn.
New colors are:

• Dark Parchment

• Beryl
• Stowaway
• Eternity

Eternity has a very slight tint of green to it that I wish wasn’t there, but as of now I’m going to just put up with it, as I couldn’t find a bluer dark blue to swap in instead.

So, I finally blocked this.

Very pleased with how this shawl turned out. It was a really fun project!

My only complaint is the white edge along the bottom of the yellow point. This is contrary to the design pattern of the entire rest of the shawl. I’d happily weave in a couple more ends to let the orange bind off there. I don’t imagine I’d do this pattern a second time, but if I did, I’d definitely explore changing this area up.
