This is by far the best TARDIS pattern (and chart) I’ve found so I used it as the basis for a scarf for my son. Knit in the round so there’s a TARDIS on both sides, and at either end of the scarf, with plain stocking stitch making up the middle part.

18 Dec 2015: First pair of TARDISes (one on each side) completed, and I’m very, very pleased with them. I did vary the chart a little for greater accuracy. Will try and add it here eventually. Realised I’ll have to knit the second pair of TARDISes bottom up too otherwise the long (slipped) stitches will be upside down, so I’ll have to graft the two together in the middle at the end.
