as it looks like, just knocked it together. did body tail and back legs in one piece, front legs separately and head separately. used wire (wrapped in clean cut up old t-shirt) for tail so it’s pose-able. Legs and head stuffed with cut up t-shirts, body lined with an old clean sock and stuffed with a sausage of dried lentils.
had expected to use cascade wool but the local yarn shop has closed and wanted to buy in walking distance from home, so just picked up what was available.
for body: cast on 36 stitches, knit in random stranded knitting until body seemed long enough. spread suitably around, transferred 4 stitches for tail onto spare yarn then cast on 2, same for both back legs. (so dropped 12, gained 6. started decreases, using short rows to ensure the final end was high - closer to tail. picked up tail stitches plus 4 new - knit tail in round to desired length. picked up 4 for each paw plus 6 more - knit in round to desired length.
counted for 2018bbpc challenge 9 - design a project from scratch. this wasn’t the project i was expecting to use (I’ve a man’s colourwork vest all charted out and swatched but a frozen shoulder has, well, really put fancy knitting on ice) but think it counts!
