Finished and I really like them!

I can wear them a couple different ways:

  1. As boot cuffs/liners.
  2. leg warmers over my calves only, cuffed
  3. over the knee legwarmers, uncuffed.
  4. As faux boot socks, uncuffed but peeking out from under my boots.

I thread an I cord through the loops created by the cables to hold them up :)

I used 330 grams of bulky weight yarn to make these. I don’t know the yardage I’m afraid, but its very comparable to Knit Picks Swish Bulky which is 137 yds per 100 grams. So… by that I used approximately 452.1 yards.
______________________________________
This burns like animal fiber, the tag says wool, but it feels super soft and squishy but doesn’t smell like cashmere when wet so I’m going with merino or something similar, probably superwash since I can’t spit-splice it.
It is very comparable to some Knit Picks Swish Bulky I have stashed so I’m using it as a reference for its weight.

Legwarmers/bootliner coming along nicely.

Making up the pattern as I go- so far so good.
