Cody is listed as a sport-weight yarn, but with all that bounce it knits up like a DK on my needles. Swatches have the same gauge before and after washing. Yay! Helps a lot on a project like this.

Mods: eliminating side panels; will have seam up the sides; adding waist shaping; and, to fit my 5’ tall body better, will knit 12” to underarm rather than 14” stated in pattern.

5/5: started back alternating skeins because yarn is hand dyed. Used cable CO to begin pattern on RS row. Checked gauge after 1.5”. Stockinette sides are right on. Cable panel is 5.25” vs 5”. Will check further along because the panel pulls in when the cables increase in number.

5/11: Have completed 7” on the back. Gauge is right on for both panel and sides. Began the chart as written. Per what other Ravelers have recommended, will modify the sleeves to eliminate the pucker where the first cable begins. Forgot to tighten the knit stitches along the sides of the chart where the purl background transitions to the stockinette sides. The red arrow indicates where I began tightening the knit stitch before and after the chart section. Much tidier.

10/6/15: Sweater has been languishing for over a year. Side panels worked up to bust line, back up to where hood begins, one sleeve, 2nd sleeve only a few rows before beginning decreasing for shaping. So sorry I put the WIP down when I was so far along!
