The pattern is written in a frustrating way. It gives the details of each individual row every time when they don’t change, and directs me to flip back and forth to look up repeated sections.

I have rewritten it to focus on what’s going on in each section, starting by defining the two rows that don’t change as “plain knitting” and explaining the difference between the two kinds of eyelet row (the difference between sections B and D). My version is here for anyone who finds it easier to use.

I’m substituting a triangular texture for the seed stitch section. It looks a little like seed stitch, but it feels more like garter and is more fun to knit than seed stitch.
