Interesting to knit for sure! Pattern is not too complicated, once you got the hang of it and it keeps knitting interesting. If I did it again, I would cast on at least 1, if not 2 pattern repeats more per sleeve to make 3/4 or even 7/8 sleeves. But do not like the look of cuffs when picking up stitches around sleeves which some did, so I will leave it like this. Also would go for size M and not S only. Did the strechy bind off all around. Did one additional repeat of Chart A after the increase charts and did 2.5 cm of ribbing, which gave me a total length of 31.5 cm after ribbing band under arms before blocking. Seems to have grown a little in washing, can’t wait to try it on when dry!

Finished knitting on our trip back from Pitztal - tried it on before washing and blocking, size M would have been better - but I think it will be wearable….

Messed up a little with the increases - should be kfb18 4times, before and after each side marker - I mixed up the middle part and only did kfb 15 times after w2nd side marker which is why I had too many stitches left before the last side marker and bound of more for the neck. Well, managed to fiddle around and tried on - seems to fit ok. Sleeves are currentyl exactly before elbow - not sure if I will lengthen them…

Did only 14 repeats, bound off the sleeves today.
Aug. 22nd
Did 12 repeats for arms, 26 cm in length unstreched.
So I plan to do 15 repeats in total for arm circumference.
Sleeves will be quite short, however, I might add some length with picking up stitches around armholes and add longer sleeves after finishing.
Oh-oh - wanted to start this during our Schwarzwaldstrick Knitting retreat, but managed to make 2 mistakes in the lace pattern already when starting the swatch on the streetcar while listening to audiobooks - maybe not such a good thing to knit at a retreat… However, gauge swatch is 15 cm width (unstretched) for 3 repeats of 12 stitches and 7 cm in heights for 3 repeats.
Think I will use this video’s method for the provisional cast on so I have it directly on the needle and do not need to pick up from a chain - thanks to Gooster65!
