9/1/2014 closing this project to start a new one.

4/11/2014 Update 2
I finished the right hand glove. It needs to be blocked and I think that will smooth out the yarn quite a bit. From the palm side you can see where my hole fixes on the middle finger and thumb were a bit rough. I had huge holes there despite picking up the stitches the way I was supposed to.
For the left hand glove I’m going to shorten the index finger a smidge.
When I make another set of these I want to end the fingerless fingers differently. The two purl bump rows you end up with from the pattern are just too bulky looking.
4/11/2014 Update 1
I’m ready to start the fingers on my right hand glove. I’m going to the fingers in a different color for fun.
I’m going to do full fingers for the pinkie and ring finger, and long fingerless for the other 3 fingers.
I can see some distorted stitches in the glove so far, but after I block the glove those should smooth out. My technique is getting a lot better - I have no ladders at the dpn joins!
I loved these ChiaoGoo needles so much I just ordered a whole range of sizes in them.

4/10/2014 Initial Remarks
Finally starting these. I did not have DPNs large enough. I ordered a few brands, and ended up really liking the ChiaoGoo Bamboo. They are sweet!
