I’ve made a few modifications to the pattern to suit me.

First, I cast on an additional 6 stitches. I wanted to do seed stitch for the border rather than garter, so I wanted two additional stitches on each side to make it look a little better.
The final two stitches I added were for selvage, so I could slip the first stitch to make a nice clean edge. I’m having a bit of trouble with one of the sides looking funny, so instead of slipping purl-wise on both sides I’m trying to slip knit-wise on the wrong side to see if that fixes that problem.

I’ve also changed one of the stitches in the pattern. I don’t like sk2p - I think it looks jacked up. I much prefer the central double decrease (slip 2 together knit wise, knit 1, pass the 2 slipped stitches over), so I’m doing that instead.
The first picture shows how nicely the two slipped stitches lie on top of each other.

I like working with the dishie multi, it adds a pretty touch.
