I hope to be pregnant by the time this blanket is finished… We’ve been trying since July, so the odds are getting better, right? I figure there will be a lot of cute baby things to knit, so I should get a head start.

This pattern is a perfect tv/car knitting project. It’s very simple.

• Using the first 2 skeins (one of each color), I got a length of 30.5 inches (with a width of 35 inches). I used very little of the second CC skein (cream) to get to the finished size.

• Stitched the 4 border edges together to make it look like one long piece instead of having that weird gap.

• Didn’t pay attention to gauge. Blanket ended up at 38”x36”.

• Machine washed and dried the blanket.

Dec 27 2009- Still not pregnant, but the blanket is finished! I LOVE the way it turned out.

Aug 31 2011- It looks like this blanket will finally get some use! Our baby is due in April. =)
