This is my second pair of these Chinook gloves. Pattern calls for fingering weight on #2 needles. I’m making these for my son so I’m using sport weight and #3 needles. Magic Loop. The yarn is a favorite - Quince - so soft and squishy but makes great stitch definition. This is my new favorite yarn.

Using the sport weight and #3 needles is the perfect size for a guy’s hand. I also did not switch back and forth with the needle sizes, like the pattern calls for. I just used the same needle for the glove until I got to the fingers and then I went down a needle to a #2 for just the fingers.
