Notes

I’ve knitted a lovely, super-soft, scarf! The yarn, a silk and cashmere mix named “Superio”, is originally from Filatura di Crosa, but I’ve purchased it (and the pattern) from Norwegian store Det Mjuke (”The Soft”, translated). A bundle weighs 25 grams and I didn’t even spend all of that; imagine how light this scarf is! It’s knitted on needles size 4 mm. On the picture where it’s put down for blocking, it looks kind of uneven. The pattern says to start with 47 stitches and end up with 32. When I finally grasped the idea of the pattern (thanks, mrs. Darth!), the project was finished really fast. It’s knitted in two halves which then is stitched together. I’ve got another bundle, so I might make a second scarf. I’ve not yet decided whether I’ll use the exact same pattern or one of the many others I’ve got on hold!
