Squares at end of Round 17 measure 14”

Pattern modifications:
Because I was carrying the color up instead of cutting it after each round, I used a (ch 1, slip st in first SC, ch 3) instead of a standing DC. Also carried the black and white starting with Row 11.

Really fun and easy pattern thanks to the video tutorial from Esther at It’s all in a Nutshell.

20180811: I have decided to make 3 each of 6 colors and 2 each of one color instead of 2 each of 10 colors. Catching up the third Spring Green and Turqua.

20180826: Back on this after making two baby afghans.

20180829: Starting Shocking Pink blocks.

20180914: Starting Paddy Green blocks.

20180921: Starting Royal blocks.

20180927: Starting Bright Yellow blocks.

20180930: All squares complete. Used random number drawing to determine joining sequence of squares.

20181028: Joining begun. Using 5.00 mm hook. Tried using the zipper join but it was not dense enough. Used Single Crochet Pass Loop Through Continuous JAYGO instead.

20181105: Joining complete. Starting border. Back to 4.25 mm hook. Added one row single crochet with 1 hdc at the join. Finished with one round of Double Crochet.

20181114: Complete. Will update when the sun comes back out and I can get some pictures.
