5.1.21 Gifted to baby Henry.

The family and I are off to Disneyland Paris for a long weekend and I had to have a project to take with me for the train journey, so I decided on yet another grey blanket for a new baby.

I am making this one to put in my stash, as I have loads of pink baby blankets, but not a lot of blue.

Grey always seems to go down well with the new Mums, so I thought I would play safe.

This following info may help you if your C2C squares tilt.

My C2C blankets always tilt slightly when I make them and I think I have found the solution. I am a tight crocheter and I think that my ch3’s were too tight, so I have made them looser and it seems to have done the trick

Border: (May use a larger hook for final bobble round)

1. Grey. Start in the corner with a sc, chain 2 , sc in next space. Continue all round the blanket and slip stitch to finish off the round.
2. Blue sc in the sc then 2 sc in each loop, 3sc in a corner sc.
3. White hdc in each sc, 3sc in corner.
4. Grey sc in each sc, 3sc in corner.
5. White same as round 4.
6. White Turn work, working with wrong side facing. 1dc in next st, 1sl st in next st all around.
