I love the yarn. It’s a bit splitty, but otherwise wonderful to work with and the colour is amazingly bright.

I made a tiny mod on row 7 of chart 2:

Instead of beginning each section with yo, k3
and ending with k3, yo, I’m beginning with yo, k2tog, yo, k1 and ending with k1, yo, ssk, yo.

That forms the bottom of the diamond that emerges from there. It only makes a tiny difference, but I think it looks better.

I worked 8 repeats of Chart 2, but then realized I would run out of yarn before finishing Chart 3. Ripped back to 7 reps and then did Chart 3.

I added an increase row after Chart 3 to make the scallops more scallopy:

K2, yo, k6, yo, *k1, yo, k8, yo* rep to 6 sts before centre st, k6, yo, k1 (centre st), yo, k6, yo, *k1, yo, k8, yo* rep to 6 sts before border sts, k6, yo, k2.

I finished with a p2tog bind off on the WS, worked very loosely with a 5mm needle.
