Many thanks, Bev, for the opportunity to test knit this beauty and to go for more lace and less stockinette. Such an enjoyable and interesting knit. Ruffles are not a mainstay in my wardrobe, but I fell in love with these and didn’t even try for points (not to mention the easy blocking!)

I’m still up in the air about Donegal Neps and the resulting “tweed” effect. If a particular nep was on the larger size it didn’t always make it, due to selective nipping of Neps on my part.
