Notes

Started project “Brother’s Birthday Sock” in April. His birthday is on June 24

I picked this pattern because I refuse to knit another rib sock…booooring. This pattern keeps things interesting. It’s a very easy pattern to knit and fun to see how the curves curve-up the foot to the leg. I changed the heel design…decides to go with a heel flap just because I thought it would give more room in the heel since this is a surprise birthday gift. I wanted to be sure the sock would fit my brother’s feet. So I went with a knitted heel flap…just simple enough so that it did not take away from Jeannie Cartmel design.

June 11, 2012 – Done and in plenty of time for my little brother birthday…43 years old…not so little anymore I charged the cuff of the sock to kbl/purl to give it a simple manly design.

No problems with the pattern…it is straight forward and easy. I rarely knit a pattern twice but this pattern I just might.

They fit my brother’s feet perfectly!! Turned out to be a very successful project!!
