Crochet sketchbook I’m using 8/4 cotton to make samples of 3 round circles with clusters, puffs & popcorns and then squaring them. My favourite squares and circles I’m making up using lace cotton for my crochet sketchbook This is what I love about crochet, even playing around with 3 rows and 4 stitches, like anything in maths, there are infinite possibilities but logical conclusions

To secure them in the sketchbook I chain a few at the end of each crochet sample and tape down with masking tape. The title can then be written on the tape. It also makes it easy to move pieces around. I’m using a mixed media 180gsm paper sketchbook with large rings so it has room to bulk out. The book has 60 pages, it should fit if I take about 20 out. But I’ll just see how it goes.

I also plan to make up some mesh and lace samples.
