Got 2 hats from one skein of yarn. The sizing runs a tad small so pay attention to gauge. Both hats are child to teen
size, but my gauge was just enough off (only took a little) for me to make it for my 3 yr old grandson instead of 7 yr old sister. Ergo, I did another using size J hook for hers.

Can’t say I’m that wild about the yarn. Yes it’s soft, but kind of on the thin side in my opinion. For these hats I think I would prefer Red Heart Super Saver. These hats even at gauge seem to fit very snugly, so I will try again later on with a real worsted weight and maybe larger hook or size.

Love the look though and can’t fault the pattern. Just have to make some adjustments to suit my own taste. These came out very cute though and the kids love them.
