Using the sport-weight cotton for the borders only and the multicolored yarn for the main lace center.

Gauge = 5.5 st/inch in garter stitch.

Blanket is ~30” by ??“ (I’ll be done when I run out of yarn!)

CO 160 stitches.
20 rows of garter stitch (10 ridges).

Knit 10 of garter stitch in border color, switch to main yarn, K 140 stitches in gull pattern, switch to border color for last 10 stitches in garter. Repeat until out of main color yarn.
Finish with 20 more rows of garter stitch (10 ridges).
