My “Cap for Nessa’s Mother” looks pretty different from the rest of the projects, because it was knitted giant and then felted! I took this pattern and modified it for my Fionna from Adventure Time costume, namely…

1- knitted with worsted on a 10.5 circular, then felted
2- has bunny ears that I lightly stuffed so when felted, it shrinks to the stuffed size and holds its shape up
3- shortened the chin strap, since garter stitch doesn’t felt as well as stockinette

It fits my head PERFECTLY! And the ears stay up so well too. Suh-weeeet.

The amigurumi is Cake the Cat, Fionna’s sidekick from the show.
