Notes

Warp is the SLK Double Helix, Handspun Moonrover and a small scrap ball of mostly-black yarn. I did the initial “loops” through each slot in a symmetrical pattern (though there are some natural differences from the shades in the handspun) but when moving threads to the holes I swapped a few over to introduce a little randomness.

Weft is the SLK Noodle sock blank, which I dyed especially for this project. I wanted a striped effect, without having to change weft all the time, so a sock blank seemed like the right choice! I skeined it up and steamed to reduce the kinking as much as possible before weaving.

The fabric ended up OKAY but I just couldn’t be bothered finishing it into a scarf. Maybe one day :|
