I thought that, for the little’s, I would make a bag to wear with their little darlings tucked in. That way, they can carry them about, or hang them somewhere safe.
I’ve never done Granny Squares before, but have crocheted since I was born. Mostly strange, mis-shapen ‘things’. But it’s a no-brainer really, if you can hook.
The lady in the Op Shop described how you get up to the next row/colour, which turned out to be how I’d fudged it anyhow.
I found the smaller hook (rather than a 4 for 8ply) made a nicer square.
Also, I have one of those automatic Knitting Nancy devices, where you turn a handle. Works up quickly with a handle (got it from Spotters).
