Notes

I had these two yarns in my stash and wanted to use them, so I quadrupled the Bernat Super Value yarn to create a super bulky yarn to use in the pattern. I got gauge using the US 17 needle rather than the US 19 in the pattern.

For all the ribbed areas, I carried along the eyelash yarn for a fuzzy effect.

I originally started off making the large size, but after finishing the arm and realizing how HUGE it was, I ripped out and redid it in small. It fits well although the shoulders are a little snug, esp if I wear a thicker shirt underneath. However, the majority of the sweater is very stretchy, and with the four strands of yarn held together, it makes the hoodie surprisingly warm, even though this is acrylic and not wool.

I was completely confused about how to make the pocket and had to read it over and over until I finally (I think) got it. If the pockets are supposed to be small, then I definitely got it.
