Made this years ago, must’ve been about 2013, and only recently took pictures. I’d switched to knitting by that point, so it was a return to crochet for me… I’d been looking to knit a lace vest because that was in at the time, and then I saw what River Tam was wearing on Firefly, immediately knew that was it (despite not even being a huge Firefly fan). Don’t remember what yarn I used, except that it was the weight and material called for. Anyway, the only major change I made is that I started the inside edging with slip stitches so the edge starts out flush with the body, rather than creating a 90 degree angle. Super happy with it!
