5/10 - Well, thank goodness Mom is out of town for Mother’s Day, because I still have one sleeve to go! I’m trying to fly through it in time to give it to her next weekend, when we celebrate Mom’s Day.

4/19 - Done with the back, one front side, and halfway up the second front. Trying to keep the buttonhole placement in my head, remember to increase and decrease for shaping, and plug along on the eyelet basketweave pattern is keeping my brain busy!

I’ve had to go down about .5mm in size on my needles, and this is the first time I’ve used anything less than a US 3, so I feel like I’m knitting with toothpicks! But it’s making a lovely fabric, and I’m quite happy with it so far. I think Mom will be, too.
