Starting - August 06, 2012 - No big rush on this thought, so I would imagine that it is going to take a while.

First time using a Garter Tab cast on & thank goodness for Stephen West’s photos & instruction.

So far I am loving this shawl & yes, I am adding a color in to the mix. I don’t mind just black & grays, but I wanted a pop of color so I am going to use the pink in only one section & that is all.

The color order I am going in is black, dark gray, light gray, dark gray, black, dark gray, light gray, then pink. Each color section adds 10 inches to the width from wing tip to wingtip. So I am looking at approximately a 70 inch shawl.

Sept. 01, 2012 - AAAARGH!!!! Ran out of my Hawk color. It is on order from knitpicks. I swore that I had gotten enough, but apparently not. So this is on hold until I get the yarn in.

Sept. 20, 2012 - I would have gotten finished under a month if I didn’t run out of yarn, but I am finally finished. All 85 inches of it across the top. It is wonderful. The last pics are not wonderful & soon I should be able to get good lighting ones.
