Will be using my normal smooth edge “trick”.

Cast on 2 extra stitches.

Right side: slip first stitch purlwise with yarn in front, complete pattern till last stitch. With yarn in front slip the last stitch purlwise.

Wrong side: knit first stitch through the back loop, complete pattern till last stitch. Knit the last stitch as you normally would knit a stitch.
