The shawl begins with an I-Cord cast on. Lots of cable-y goodness in this one.

Part of the Lost Kingdom series; this one is named for this song by Brunuhville. As you hear the melodies intertwining, the translation to a cabled knit just seems right!

I’m knitting this as part of the “IK All Shawls KAL” in our Rav group.

- blocked first half of shawl to check gauge and design

Feb 2, 2014:

• blocked shawl width is 20”
• will require 9 reps of main pattern to make the shawl nice and wrappable
• pattern charts are complete

Putting final touches on the pattern; test knitting to start Feb. 26, 2014
