I’ve had this yarn and pattern in my stash for quite awhile. Was planning on trying to find a substitute for the Wooly Feathers that was true black. Never did and decided there’s no time like the present.
Love Mountain Colors colrways. Ruby River is gorgeous. The Merino Ribbon is a very cool yarn. I’ve never run across anything like it. Was a little difficult to work with. Definitely recommend using a blunt tip needle as the recommended.
The collar did cry out for some kind of fuzzy/furry addition. I found some Anny Blatt Fine Kidd Mohair in my stash. The color is hard to describe, red with a purple tone? It seemed to work well with the main yarn.
Pattern was not difficult and easy to follow. Fit is a little on the boxy side. I do like the finished cardigan. I think it will make a great addition to fall and winter wardrobe.
